Plastic Surgery: It’s Not Just For Women – Male Celebrities Who Have Gotten It

plastic surgery: it's not just for women

In recent times, plastic surgery has certainly become more of a common thing in society. Of course, like many social trends, the popularity of plastic surgery sprouted from Hollywood. No matter how much you like them, it’s undeniable that many celebrities renew their fame and popularity at the plastic surgeon’s office, like the Kardashians and Jenners.

Now, just because they get plastic surgery that doesn’t mean they’re worthless, as so many celebrities undergo some type of cosmetic procedure every once in a while. And, it’s not just the female celebrities who use plastic surgery to keep their looks up to par for the red carpet.

Male celebrities also undergo cosmetic procedures to stay pretty for the cameras. While male plastic surgery is definitely a little less common than female plastic surgery, it still happens. Here are some male celebrities who have had plastic surgery:

The Rock –

The former wrestling star (and now an action and comedy star) is beyond jacked and chiseled. Despite his insane physique, Dwayne Johnson was actually diagnosed with gynecomastia some years ago, which is when you have excess fat in the breast area. No amount of time in the gym could fix this for The Rock, so he decided to undergo a liposuction procedure to remove the excess fat and keep his physique intact.

Burt Reynolds –

The older movie star, known for plenty of films such as Deliverance, Boogie Nights, and The Longest Yard, has not been immune to aging. To combat his aging, Burt Reynolds has gotten a facelift, removed the bags under his eyes, and has tightened the skin around his eyelids.

George Clooney –

The silver fox of Hollywood, George Clooney, is also known for many movies, such as Gravity, Ocean’s Eleven, and Money Monster. Despite being as handsome as he is, even George Clooney has undergone a plastic surgery procedure as he has undergone eyelid surgery.

Kenny Rogers –

The older country star known for hits such as The Gambler has had multiple plastic surgeries to fight off aging. While it might not have won the battle, Kenny Rogers has undergone procedures such as a facelift, eyelid surgery, and many Botox injections.

Sylvester Stallone –

The invincible action star known for his intense roles as characters like Rocky and Rambo has needed a few plastic surgeries to keep his face on the same page as his body. Sylvester Stallone has needed an eyebrow lift, a facelift, and some work on his jaw line to keep his face up to par with his body over the years.

Enrique Iglesias –

The hit-making singer Enrique Iglesias is a good example that plastic surgeries do not need to be anything nit-picky or excessive. Iglesias has undergone cosmetic procedures to remove the mole besides his nose.

Michael Jackson –

And of course, what is any plastic surgery list without the King of Pop and the King of Plastic Surgery? To say the least, Michael Jackson’s appearance changed quite a bit over his years. Michael Jackson has undergone multiple nose surgeries, surgeries adjusting the appearance of his lips and cheekbones, and a chin surgery in addition to many dermal filler injections and Botox procedures.

At the end of the day, you don’t need to be a female to have plastic surgery, just like you don’t need to be a female to look pretty. If you don’t believe, just look at some of the male celebrities who have gotten plastic surgery before. From some of the most good-looking actors, to some of the most intense action stars, there are plenty of male celebrities who keep in touch with their looks as they age.
